Topic title- Goals/time Management/optimal Living

Alternatively we can take the option to do NOTHING, whatever floats yer boat..:)
Example- Jesus's young cousin John rejected the worldly rat-race and lived offgrid in the wilderness.
Jesus's verdict on him?-
"John is the greatest man ever to be born"- (Matt 11:11)

Michael Jordan's Trainer REVEALS The Secret Formula For SUCCESS! | Tim Grover & Lewis Howes

13 Rules of Being Relentless by Tim Grover UNCENSORED; Michael Jordan's Personal Trainer

“I don’t care how good you think you are, or how great others think you are—you can improve, and you will. Being relentless means demanding more of yourself than anyone else could ever demand of you, knowing that every time you stop, you can still do more. You must do more. The minute your mind thinks, “Done,” your instincts say, “Next.”

Do you have that strong feeling that makes you willing to the make the sacrifice for reaching your full potential?

1. How big are your dreams?
2. How demanding are your dreams?
3. Are you willing to meet that demand?
4. How is it going to feel when you meet that demand?

Self-Awareness: Know Yourself: Gary Vaynerchuk

"The Price of Becoming EXCEPTIONAL In Life" - Jordan Peterson Motivation

Lol! It's funny that you posted a video from Gary with him using swear words, DR. :D ;) That said, I agree with his message, which is finding out who you really are. I think that's a journey everyone should be on because you're able to discern your strengths from your weaknesses and go from there to create a clearer path for yourself.

What's interesting is back in high school when I was in a co-op program, I took some personality surveys to help me refine this for me and have kept them to this very day. I remember my co-op teacher reading me my results from the dot-matrix printout and frowning because I couldn't understand how the three areas I scored high in had any relation to what I wanted to pursue at the time. She told me it wasn't unusual for the three areas to be interconnected. I just shrugged and went along with her, but was focused on only one of those fields. Well, here it is, decades later, and it turns out Ms. Smith was right in interpreting my assessment. While the CHOICES Guide, which was created by Employment and Immigration Canada is no longer in print, but gave a very accurate personality assessment of what activities I enjoy, the job responsibilities I like, the working relationships I prefer and the working conditions I could accept, I was able to find the two that I kept inside the booklet. As an FYI, the Holland's PDF is the exact copy I have:

Bob Proctor Quotes

Here are the most powerful success lessons from the Bob Proctor quotes:

Never reject an idea, dream or goal because it will be hard work. Success rarely comes without it.
Set a goal to achieve something that is so big, so exhilarating that it excites you and scares you at the same time.
Most people are not going after what they want. Even some of the most serious goal seekers and goal setters, they’re only going after what they think they can get.
If you do not get the chills when you set your goal you’re not setting big enough goals.
Your real purpose in life is to develop yourself. To successfully do this you must always be working toward a goal.
By visualizing your goal already completed, you flip your mind onto the frequency that contains the way that it will be attracted to you.
Set a goal to achieve something that’s so big so exhilarating that excites you & scares you at the same time.
Most people are not going after what they want. Even some of the most serious goal seekers and goal setters, they’re going after what they think they can get.
Your purpose explains what you are doing with your life. Your vision explains how you are living your purpose. Your goals enable you to realize your vision.
The world is your canvas and your teacher. Take a day to reflect, measure and adjust on your goals; progress is essential to continued success.
We come this way but once. We can either tiptoe through life and hope that we get to death without being too badly bruised or we can live a full, complete life achieving our goals and realizing our wildest dreams.

The 5 LESSONS In Life People Learn TOO LATE

What a positive video. Someone in the comments section summarized it:

1) Don't go through life sleep walking: Have Purpose, have a destination at least in mind
2) Live life without Fear. Confront fear, face it down, expose it completely.
3) Stop complaining, find the good the greatness and revel in it. No negative attitudes
4) Know your destination. Have an objective and purpose in your journey.
5) Enjoy life, enjoy your life, make the most of it, not the least of it.

As an aside, while I absolutely loathe Will Smith for numerous reasons, I give him credit for being a good storyteller. :)

This answer was in my Quora alerts and thought it would be fitting for your thread:

What type of people we should avoid in order to be successful in our life?

My top 5.
Unfortunately, I’ve encountered them all. Thankfully, they moved on to bless someone else.
1. Crooks. Never do business with crooks because sooner or later they’ll get you. Yet, people often do business with shady people because they think they’re getting a deal. And then find out their not the one getting the deal. Avoid them. You’ll be glad.
2. Abusers. If someone abuses you once tell them to hit the road not you. Yet, people stay in relationships with abusers. And keep taking back them back when they promise they’ve changed only to get abused again. One and done. You’ll be glad.
3. Pessimists. Life is tough enough without looking for the rainstorm behind every silver lining. Yet, people fill their lives with those who do that and can’t understand why they’re unhappy. Fill your life with positive people. You’ll be glad.
4. Doubters. To be successful you need to believe you’ll be successful and avoid those who tell you otherwise. Yet, people fill their lives with those who tell them they’ll fail and then they can’t understand why they do. Fill your life with those who believe in you. You’ll be glad.
5. Drainers. Some people will only suck you dry. Yet, people stay in relationships with those who constantly do that. And then wonder why they’re always drained. Fill your life with those who fill you and avoid those who don’t. You’ll be glad.
Some may say, “But they need help.” And it’s true they do need help. So let them pay a therapist who has no personal relationship with them.
Because if you drown trying to save someone who’s drowning it won’t help either one of you.
Someone has said, “When someone shows you who they are believe them.” And I would add, “And if it’s negative avoid them.”
The world is filled with positive people who will help you have a positive life. So fill your life with them. Enjoy your happiness and success. Then become that person for others. You’ll be glad.
You can be successful but only as you fill your life with people who help you to be greater.

Bonnie St. John – Micro-Resilience Overview

resilient people are able to appropriately adjust themselves quicker and sooner when they realise that either their emotions are being hijacked or that the dangers they perceived may never materialise. Other people, however, continue to show chemical and physical indicators of stress long after the threat dissipates.

Although upbeat emotions broaden our thoughts and actions only temporarily, they allow us to build up durable resources. Moments of positive feelings, when frequently repeated, can build effective relationships and interpersonal networks.

PNTV: Relentless by Tim Grover
Going from good to great to unstoppable
Relentless means without ceasing towards ultimate potential no more "meh. good enough!'
The need to go outside your comfort zone.
Talent x Effort = Achievement
Stress should have a challenge response not a threat response.
Whatever dreams/visions you have in your calm moments is what you can have if you had absolutely no fear.
That is what you are here to do and remember that effort counts twice

Definitely need to make the most of my time after work. Luckily I’m a weekends off, traditional 9-5 type of schedule. So should figure out a balance to make use of something

If you have something that you are passionate about you will find time not to be an obstacle. You can steal a few minutes from times used on other things.I like Bob Proctor's points:
Your real purpose in life is to develop yourself. To successfully do this you must always be working toward a goal.

By visualizing your goal already completed, you flip your mind onto the frequency that contains the way that it will be attracted to you.

Set a goal to achieve something that’s so big so exhilarating that excites you & scares you at the same time.

Your purpose explains what you are doing with your life. Your vision explains how you are living your purpose. Your goals enable you to realize your vision.

Ya know. I used to have a really strong passion/goal that drove me to the point it felt….destiny/prophetic in a sense. I was oh so close, but yet so far.

I need that type of passion again
