I say yes b/c not only is there proof, but wouldn't you think the Russians would've figured it out by now? But anyways your thoughts....
Of course! I think the meme of "we didn't go' (created by a trench coated goon from NSA walking around JPL handing out mimeographed papers and mylar flags)was created because of what was found there.(OUR heritage, i.e.)

Honestly, I'm not even sure. I simply don't put much thought into it these days since I hardly even care about anything that exists beyond the stratosphere.

Where should i start my research about it ? NASA home page? Or read some about Jack Parsons?...Decisions decisions...
That whole Babalon (not a misspelling!) Rising thing was bizarre.
Some believe it ushered in the whole technology boom. Heck, maybe it did. o_______O

Not just the Russians but the Chinese,Indians, and a host of nations that have both the resources and technology far surpassing 1960's USA.
It couldn't be done then or now or probably never. I wonder how many more decades will pass before suspicion levels rise or what deflective propaganda will be unleashed for the 50th anniversary. Goodness me, did I say 50th?

Yes, I actually believed the story at the time. I think we were in such shock that we didn’t realize how absurd the narrative & footage was.
Also, I wasn’t awake then so I didn’t question the legitimacy of the media.

Now, in hindsight I cannot believe we were so duped & betrayed.
My mom watched it and saw the plane crash. So did I.

A theory of mine is that only Apollo 11 might have been faked in order to meet Kennedy's pledge to put men on the moon before the end of the 60's.
Also things were going bad in Nam, so faking it gave a big morale boost to America.
All the later Apollos might not have been faked, that's why their camera footage is in colour with good definition, compared to 11's terrible b/w grainy footage.

Some people say "There were thousands of NASA employees and they can't all can't all have been in the hoax without at least one whistle-blower coming forward".

Ah, but what if all those thousands were all being hoaxed too?
I mean, all it'd have needed was for a single wire feeding fake images from the fake studio scene at Area 51 to Houston..:)

I have my doubts, but I'm generally on the fence.

First of all, going to the moon is incredibly dangerous, so who would sign up for that? Also, add in the fact that humanity can't even build roads that don't crack, we can't even build cars that don't immediately need to be recalled.

Let me put it another way. We go to the Moon and our math was 100% perfect. Or at least perfect enough for mission success. But yet we fuck up some of the most basic shit. That makes sense.

Between 69 - 72 "man walked on the moon" yet, since Apollo, no human is able to to go any farther than 380 miles .....because we don't have the tech to keep them safe.

The moon landings are just as imaginary as the fence folk are sitting on.

If we hadn't gone to the moon, Russia would have revealed it at some point during the cold war. The world might be a stage, as someone said, but not all the actors are from the same troupe. More importantly, if it didn't happen... What is the point of lying about it? Conspiracies don't just happen for no reason...

It's like flat-earth. It's supposedly this vast conspiracy... But completely and utterly pointless, with no end.

It might serve you well to watch the American Moon documentary because they answer the questions you're raising.

The point of lying about if is, if they lied about this, why should we trust anything the US government says if they can't disclose the truth?
