    The Bible very plainly teaches that salvation is only through Christ and there are many false ways. Wide is the path that leads to destruction and many are on it. Narrow is the way that leads to life and there are few who find it. There are ways that seem right to a man but the end of those ways leads to death.

    From my reading,Jesus’ death as human was the only thing that would “unlock”Heaven for us, that it would have to be done that way.

    The Old Testament sacrifices was God attempting to bring our corrupted selves closer to him by expelling our violence over time.

    We had become ruthless post our Garden of Eden betrayal, gaining access to knowledge we had no business knowing.

    I do believe that Jesus is the only way and that he is the son of the whole and that he is God because God can’t be divided or reproduced. The only way he could communicate his love to our humble state is in that way.

    @polymoog - great question. In the late 60’s the “Jesus People” started up in California, coming out from a background where they all smoked pot just like you might have a beer. There was a heated encounter between them and preacher David Wilkerson…

    Jesus promised his disciples and all who would receive him the gift of the holy spirit. God through Christ reconciled the world to him and actually dwells within the saints who are now the temple of God. The purpose of the holy spirit is to glorify God and Christ. Jesus said he will testify of me. When we are yielded to and filled with the holy spirit he will use you to magnify and exalt Jesus here on Earth.

    Two things that will really bless your walk with the Lord

    1) Knowing that in Christ you receive the spirit of adoption(the holy spirit) and God is now your father.

    2) If possible creating a prayer room which you can be with God. This has brought me the most freedom and healing. You can speak to God as a father or really good friend and he always comes in to revive and bring healing.

    The scriptures make mention of how the house of Jezebel villified and persecuted Gods prophets so they hid in a cave. Today the modern house of Jezebel is CNN, MSNBC, and other progressive media platforms who attack traditional values and the things of God to once again herd the righteous into caves. The modern elite bloodline are the Canaanites who love war, child sacrifice, and debauchery.

The thing about being rich is that basically translates into other sins like lust, covetesness, and idolatry. Not only that, but its a complete failure to love your neighbor as yourself.
