I had to look up who they are, I had no idea who they are. :)

I'm an older timer so you probably won't know any of these. Well, maybe the last one:
  • Valene and Gary Ewing - Dallas/Knots Landing
  • Doug Williams and Julie Olson - Days of Our Lives
  • Jaime Somers and Steve Austin - Six Million Dollar Man/Bionic Woman
  • Dana Scully and Fox Mulder - X-Files

the honeymooners
jackie gleason and audrey meadows.

runner up: desi arnaz and lucille ball in i love lucy.
So your like tidals age?

I've only seen those shows in syndication on Nick at night. Pretty sure they're from the 50s.

I haven't watched tv in about a decade but i liked the couple in king of queens.
Kevin James and Leah Remini if memory serves.

also, i want to add a second runner up:
peggy and al bundy of married with children.
I watched that show as a child. Probably seen every episode. They were a good couple. Several movies Ed O Neal made were good too. One with a kid he was driving across country, idr the name, Duncan maybe? Ed was trying to have a relationship with the kids divorced mother so he was driving him home from military school and the kid was rebellious. Its pretty good if you're ever looking for something to watch.

I downloaded the entire season of MwC some years (4-5) ago. After a few episodes i deleted it. I couldn't watch it to be honest. Show was too raunchy. Not to sound "holier then thou" but its a long way from I love Lucy. As an adult i can see its not really a show for kids to say the least. Alot of the "humor" is not kid friendly. Granted, its not meant for kids but most of us grew up with it anyway.

I do think tv played a large role in the degrading of society. While Married with children is a good example from say Walton's (70's) to Highway to heaven (80's) to Simpsons (90's) to Family guy (00"s).

Its interesting to look at cartoons in a time line. They were pretty innocent back then, say the 80's had Get along gang. While today they got cartoons with openly homosexual characters like The Loud House on nickelodeon.

My nieces and nephews watch this garbage as i have no authority in that household.

Not to sound like a prude but Islam changed my views on multiple things. Such as music which is even worse then what comes out of the tv. If people stopped and listened to what they were actually saying, they'd probably turn it off.

Loved Jackie and Audrey and Dezi and Lucy!
My Dads nickname for me was Lucy so that's my forum name!

I loved Jimmy Stuart and Donna Reed on It's a Wonderful Life
and loved Erroll Flynn and Olivia D Havilland in Robin Hood and the pirate movies together. :)
