Well - I think black people are great, I go to a black church (when I can!) and they play the drums far better than white guys like me!

One issue is contrived while the other is and was real. We do not need to fight for people to change their sex to some made up mish-mash. PC is more of a battleground than some realize. Morality is under siege in order to tear down all traditions of right and wrong.

Americans don't care about blacks at least on anything deeper than a superficial level. They can't attach themselves and profit from the movements of blacks. Few will talk about it here, crusade for it even less but make comments that relate to them having some sort of relationship to black people like it matters. The Christians love the Jews, the anti religious love the LGBT but in all honestly what the blacks

Suffered trumps sexual discrimination and genocide. America prioritizes victims of a foreign massacre and multiple sexualities but is shy to help and acknowledge blacks outside of trivial qualities like sports or entertainment. But everyone knows someone black so the discussion is over lol

In the UK, it may be that discrimination against black people is either more localised or of a different sort. I don't think any less or more of people because they are black any more than I have strong feelings about the colour of a dog's fur. We all came off the Ark together as a family unit after all...

As a p.s. most of the black people I know work at our local hospital as doctors, biomedical scientists or managers but again, this is the UK and I suspect things are different here.

It seems that each group gets more, vocal support than the one before it.

If you're both black and LGBT then you have an even worse time. Non-white LGBT people get the short end of the stick because America obviously still has a racism problem. But why should we trivialize one groups problem to bring awareness to another group's problem? I prefer to recognize that America has many issues and all of them should be addressed and resolved. Race is a big issue that does need more attention

People can't pretend that racism is over. Less time than a human's lifespan has passed since there was segregation in America, that's like the blink of an eye historically. It's not enough time for all of that racial hatred to magically disappear.

I prefer to look at the bigger picture and acknowledge that Americans care more about who has sex with who than they do about a historically abused race of people that at every turn have had their leaders killed. It's okay to repeatedly steal the culture and abuse the people but less disenfranchised groups with smaller populations and far more contributions are ignored.
