now in all seriousness, the scientific method is limited. This wasn't a problem until society decided to use science for everything, everything.

You can't prove that the universe exists trough the scientific method, mainly because you didn't observe the event and you can't reproduce it again, we all just observe its effects.

That’s a deep message Mr. Anderson.

if god exists, why did he create a planet where beings cause pain and agony to other beings by the process of consuming them in order to survive?

When God made man @polymoog sin wasn’t in the world. After He made man and they were disobedient to God them sin entered the world and sin is lawlessness. But God has His plan to save people and at the right time Jesus is born...so there is actually Good News.

lisa, anything humans eat will cause pain and suffering to either plant or animal. so why did god do that?
Lisa
Lisa
Yes He is @DevaWolf

I’m not sure what you mean about plants or animals causing suffering @polymoog.

this isnt difficult, lisa. if you kill an animal for food (and the bible says that beasts are here for man, right?), theyll feel pain and suffer. and even if you eat plants, scientists have shown that tearing off a leaf from a plant, is felt by the plant. so again, why did god create a situation where something has to suffer or be in pain for another organisms existence?

It wasn't God, God did not create sin, it came into the world through humans.. at least that's what I've heard repeating on here many times. So apparantly God didn't create stuff but still created everything and knew it was going to happen.. you can't reason with this @polymoog it's just as logical as your local schizophrenic that thinks he is god

@polymoon I mean you're wondering why do we kill to eat instead absorving sunlight like trees. Well, it's because roast beef is delicious.
Ok, this is a bit too long for status posting, but it goes like this: we eat other animals because its delicious. Eating other things wasn't supossed to be a problem until Louie intervened and messed up with the original plan creating death
