I am not a Christian but i do worship the God of Adam, alone without partners and the Almighty says..

Whoever draws close to Me by the length of a hand, I will draw close to him by the length of an arm. Whoever draws close to Me the by length of an arm, I will draw close to him by the length of a fathom...

The key is worshiping God alone, without partners. May God guide you and accept your efforts.

You are not alone, I promise. The fact that you are asking about this is a good thing, actually.

I don't know any Christian who is perfect, sin free, and has followed Jesus Christ 100% faithfully, myself included. But I do know Jesus Christ has already atoned for our sins, past, present, and future, and there is grace and forgiveness only in Him.

Acts 13:38 “Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. 39 Through Him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses.”

1 Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

I have. Kept digging myself into a deeper and deeper hole until it got so deep i couldn't get out of it. At that point i cried out from the heart and he came and lifted me up and turned my heart away from the sin that got a grip on me. Looking back on that, he was always right there with me...he never abandons us regardless of where we wander off to.
