Or, you can just ask someone to clarify or explain deeper instead of being mean about it. Or, you can be an adult and apologize to @minnie82 and own up to being disrespectful instead of yet again deflecting. Understand that we do not have to put up with that attitude, we won't tolerate it, and it is going to make people really, really not like talking to you.

I already have to work 10 hours daily with somebody who has that kind of attitude. Doesn't mean that when I leave work I wanna deal with it everywhere else.

Edit to add: Not everyone here speaks English as a first language. Sometimes we don't explain things in absolute perfection for your benefit.

Well, I'm going to interpret a comment the way it's written. Plus people love to jump down my throat all the time and yell "troll" since they have nothing better to say and they can't accept criticism. Never mind that there are people posting ridiculous anti-vaxx comments, yelling dEmOnS!!! and threatening people, yet theartbook35 never seems to call that person out.

Well, you can start by apologizing to me then. You know, "be an adult" instead of yelling dumb insults like "troll", "broken logic" and "goofball" just because you can't accept criticism when you're wrong. Trying to deflect and shut down valid criticism because your ego can't take it is not a good look. You could have tried to understand the point, but you didn't and chose to go on a childish rant instead with your group of friends.

And don't try to deflect either by using the excuse that "english isn't someone's first language". The comment was written very clearly and there was nothing to "ask to further clarify". I'm going to interpret the comment the way it was written and since it was written in a grammatically correct way - there is no reason to assume "english isn't their first language" or "maybe they meant something else". The mental gymnastics you're going through to deflect valid criticism is just obnoxious at this point.

And tell your friend @Strawberrypie too, to apologize for her disgusting, vulgar insults and language. "monkey flinging feces" LOL. You people are really disgusting talking like that and they you have the AUDACITY to ask for an apology? You're not getting one and if anything you should be the one apologizing.

So yes, I do not have to put up with that attitude and I won't tolerate it. And I don't give a shit if you people "don't like talking to me" because you've shown your pathetic character and hypocrisy. Don't dish out what you can't handle. The person didn't "calmly disagree" but condescended in a very passive-aggressive way.
"When you open your eyes about vaccines, it won't be pretty". That is not calmly disagreeing but very condescending and arrogant with a underlying threatening tone. That too, for something so important and life-saving as vaccinations.

Sadly I was being very calm, Eldesande. I don't know why you behave like this, but if you took the so-called covid vaccine, make sure to have your blood checked as soon as possible. It's not about being condescending here. I spent two years of my life reading about these vaccines, I personally know a doctor who's working on detoxifying compounds and I donated money to the research. I'm willing to share valuable information with you anytime.
I'll stop here.
