This is a serious problem and I don't know any of you personally, but I thought I would honestly share to show that I'm a real person. Maybe someone can help since there are a lot of religous threads. I feel that I am a contradiction. The reason is that while I'm here to find the truth and try to spread the truth to people in the real world, and the truth sets us free. At the same time I have been struggling with a 15 year p*rn addiction. I don't know how I can oppose or expose anything in this bondage. I also know that p*rn is a major contributor to this state of society though most people refuse to discuss it's negative effects. Even one truther on YT I use to watch was exposed for his perversion and he lost a lot of credibility. To me it dulls my senses and I've tried using sheer willpower to stop, but haven't. I also know in the Bible many nations drunk from the whore of babylons cup and were drunk by her fornication. Not sure if that applies to my situation, but I pray that isn't the case for me. Any advice for me or take on its negative impact would be helpful. Please no juvenile/foolish replies. Thanks

What you suffer from is pretty much a global problem today, especially amongst the younger generation. Its not something i really had to deal with seeing my formative years were over when this material became widely and easily accessible. I couldn't imagine getting my hands on this content when i was 7 or 8 years old and growing up with it like so many kids do today.

Porn is a drug, literally. You must treat it as one. Your body produces chemicals when you use porn to gratify yourself. This endorphin rush makes you want to constantly return to it.. With enough use the brain rewrites it's pathways and essentially rewires itself over time to where a real person no longer does anything for you. PMO can cause a host of problems such as low self esteem, fatigue and ED.

Porn is addictive like any other drug. Whether it be cigarettes or cocaine, you can become dependent on it. The best way to kick any habit (drugs especially) is to go cold turkey. That is drop it completely and walk away. In the beginning it will be the most difficult, but as your brain rewires itself over time it will become easier.

Try to set up barriers. Go into your router and block the websites. Install nanny software on your computer. Limit the time where you're alone. Try the various programs out there such as NoFap. Remove the triggers from your life, for example if this usually happens when you go to bed, leave your phone/laptop in the kitchen when you go to sleep.

Alot of people from all walks of life suffer with this addiction and due to it, mankind has produced multiple answers so seek them out. A lot of this type of content is free online. Here are a few examples of many.

End of the day porn is yet another trial in this test we call life. Call upon the Almighty alone and ask him to strengthen you.

Verily, a fly can not spread its wings until the Almighty allows it. May God make it easy for you to achieve your goals.
