What's the significance of purple?
Looks pink to me, but purple is the color of royalty, and particularly imperial royalty ever since the time of the Western Roman Empire. Then the Eastern Roman Empire, the one with its capital in Constantinople (present day Istanbul), where Greek was the official language, had this title of porphyro gennetos (spelling might be off), literally born in the purple, which meant that a prince had been born while his father was already Emperor and his birth had taken place in the Purple Room of the palace. That title put said princes above elder brothers not born in the purple. So yeah, purple has quite a lot of significance seeing how Constantinople was the last bastion of Roman imperial power.

This poll is reminiscent of the recent speech Putin gave. The elites are far out of touch with their people and it could stir political action. Coming from the US it's amazing to hear a world leader speak (closer to the) truth:

https://www.rt.com/russia/557346-putin-spief-speech-takeaways/

“The European Union has completely lost its political sovereignty, and its bureaucratic elites are dancing to someone else’s tune, accepting whatever they are told from above, causing harm to their own population and their own economy,” Putin said.

EU citizens will pay the price for “decisions divorced from reality and taken contrary to common sense,” he added, as direct losses from the sanctions alone could exceed $400 billion in a year.

...Policies undertaken by EU and US leaders are exacerbating inequalities and divisions in their societies, not just in terms of welfare but in terms of values and orientations of various groups, Putin said.

“Such a detachment from reality, from the demands of society, will inevitably lead to a surge of populism and the growth of radical movements, to serious social and economic changes, to degradation and, in the near future, to a change of elites,” the Russian leader said.

...Blaming the high energy prices and inflation in the West on Russia – “Putin’s price hike,” as the White House put it – is a “stupidity” and “designed for people who can’t read or write,” the Russian president said.

“Don’t blame us, blame yourselves,” Putin said.

The EU “blindly believing in renewable sources” and abandoning long-term natural gas contracts with Russia led to the spike in energy prices last year, according to the Russian leader. Meanwhile, both the US and the EU addressed the Covid-19 pandemic by printing trillions of dollars and euros.

Apparently Putin is presenting himself as a member of the Master class... what a joke, hes a bought and sold prostitute. Putin presides over the only nation to still have no laws against possesion of child porn and his nation is one of the top countries for human (and specifically child, check into their "adoption" services) trafficking. Its absurd to hear people championing him as some sort of real leader.

I agree as anyone in those positions of power is obviously backed by criminal elements ( i.e. Chabad, KGB, WEF, etc.). The people that look to these figures as moral authorities are lost. But it doesn't change the point, that in this instance Putin is more honest about the reality of their conflict with the West. By comparison the US State Department does nothing but gaslight and exaggerate which is probably undermining their aims.

I think a person should be able to evaluate contradictory data. IMO Trump is a repulsive windbag but credit is due where he does speak the truth. On a topic like Jan.6 AOC is a howling lunatic calling for re-education camps, while we acknowledge on the Palestinian crisis she's one of the few congresspersons accurately identifying the facts of Israeli terror.

AOC as with the rest of "The Squad" has sold out Palestine in specific (and Muslims in general) EVERY chance they have had to do otherwise. Thats why I think its dangerous to say "Well, so-and-so is totally corrupt, but they told the truth here or there and thats something to build on" because the truths they are allowed to tell are only in service and benefit to their masters. They never step out of line... they know whats happening and have a pretty good idea of whats coming and are only concerned with increasing their own comfort and security. They made their choice and there is likely no turning back for them... Any influence or deference allowed to these people only compromises our own efforts, and thats by design.
