Let me guess - it tastes like beef, chicken or pork. Obviously they’re trying to place a negative association in the brains of meat eaters so that they become repulsed by eating meat. Pretty pathetic and disgusting.
Something like that, yes.

They don't want any of us to have the means to produce our own food.

Truth of it is human has been in the food supply for several decades at least. Have you heard of the ingredient HEK 293? Its in alot of foods used as a preservative and a flavor enhancer.

Nabisco and Kraft products spring to mind. But truth is most companies today are conglomerates. That is 1 company is actually 50 companies owned by the same people, using the same practices.

I'm sure we've all seen this.

HEK stands for human embryonic kidney. It is taken from fetal cells. Feel free to look it up.

I thought I had avoided being a cannibal by not being vaccinated.

General Wiki info below.

I remember reading about the "immortalised" line during the early days (a few months ago?) of the v ax.

HEK 293 cells
Human embryonic kidney 293 cells, also often referred to as HEK 293, HEK-293, 293 cells, or less precisely as HEK cells, are a specific immortalised cell line derived from an aborted fetus or human embryonic kidney cells grown in tissue culture taken from a female fetus in 1973.[1][2] HEK 293 cells have been widely used in cell biology research for many years, because of their reliable growth and propensity for transfection. They are also used by the biotechnology industry to produce therapeutic proteins and viruses for gene therapy as well as safety testing for a vast array of chemicals.293T (or HEK 293T) is a derivative human cell line that expresses a mutant version of the SV40 large T antigen. It is very commonly used in biological research for making proteins and producing recombinant retroviruses.

Appropriate for Wiki, yes... kind of-- but the speed with which articles of this nature (along with longstanding medical definitions like immunization) are being "updated" is alarming.

HEK 293 - BILL 2012

It seems like Taste-Testing was the issue in 2012-- which the bill also sought to outlaw-- but read the article, and you will see why the bill's author likely saw that as a precursor to the introduction of HEK 293 into our food products.

Reasonable foresight, imo.

Article by NPR is surprisingly candid, but still... take it with a grain of salt.
It's probably much worse.

FORBES Response (2012)

Nothing but damage control.

"... no new fetal tissue is being used"
"... a tiny company"
"... they’re used in the development of drugs and vaccines."

As though Tiny Companies can't do great damage, and time causes the evil of forced abortions to just fall off (or something?)-- that they are used in drug development has NOTHING to do with its addition to food products.

Good stuff-- thanks for posting, @Daze

Is it really set in 2022?

Richard Fleischer's “Soylent Green” is a good, solid science-fiction movie, and a little more. It tells the story of New York in the year 2022, when the population has swollen to an unbelievable 80 million, and people live in the streets and line up for their rations of water and Soylent Green

O that's wonderful. -.-

Thanks, Maldarker
Twilight Zone episode, as well, I thought-- and I had the gist of the story-- but 2022 hits a little too close to home. *cringe*

It's terrifying to think about this IF there's going to be acute food shortages.....in the year 2022. :(

So bizarre. Are they testing their celebrity clone flesh on us now?
