1 Timothy 4:1-3 (KJV)
4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, WHICH GOD HATH CREATED TO BE RECEIVED with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

God did NOT create the pig, shellfish, ducks, geese, swans, etc. (see Lev. 11, Deut. 14) to be received as food, i.e. to be eaten. In fact God (not men) COMMANDED us not to eat these abominable things for our own benefit, because these animals were specifically designed to be part of the planetary waste management system, NOT food.

There are many plants which are poisonous to humans, to deter even the most obstinate from eating them, because they too were designed for other purposes. Is someone really foolish enough to believe God created those too to be received (eaten) with thanksgiving?

From cover-to-cover, all of Scripture has one central, recurring and unchanging message of truth: OBEY GOD ONLY. It's truly amazing the lengths that sick people will go to defend and to teach others their satanic, anti-Christ doctrines of devils and made-up traditions instead of doing what God COMMANDS us for our own benefit.

Acts 5:29-32
5:29 Then Peter and the [other] Apostles answered and said, WE OUGHT TO OBEY GOD RATHER THAN MEN.
5:30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
5:31 Him hath God exalted with His right hand [to be] a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
5:32 And we are His witnesses of these things; and [so is] also the Holy Spirit, WHOM GOD HATH GIVEN TO THEM THAT OBEY HIM.

1 John 2:3-5
2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, IF we keep His Commandments.
2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth NOT His Commandments, is a LIAR, and the truth is NOT in him.
2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

Further, if anyone is genuinely interested in the truth about the above passage (KJV - 1 Timothy 4:1-3), in specific, what is meant by those who have departed from the faith (trust in God), commanding others to abstain from meats, look at what science is doing today, in its vain attempt to contradict God.

God tells us that cattle and sheep are CLEAN animals, that can be eaten. Science comes along and tells us we should avoid them because they allegedly cause "cholesterol", that they tell us is bad for us. So should we believe God and His Wisdom or should we believe Satan's scientists and their seducing spirits and doctrines of devils (liars)? Didn't the very same letter to Timothy address that very issue?

1 Timothy 6:20-21 KJV
6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane [and] vain babblings, and OPPOSITIONS OF SCIENCE (knowledge) FALSELY SO CALLED:
6:21 Which some professing [to have] have erred concerning the faith. Grace [be] with thee. Amen.

"The original diet of mankind and the Old Testament Dietary Laws, do they still apply?"

The Bible says that God does not change. It also says that His Word is eternal. Also, this is what His Son, the King of Kings had to say about the matter in question:

"17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not
come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one
tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall
teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but
whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the
kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the
righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the
kingdom of heaven."
- Matthew 5:17-20 (KJV)

Unfortunately, most Christians read this and stop after reading, "Think not" (verse 17). Kudos to you for not doing so, and for using the brain God gave you to search for the truth. Kudos also for being brave enough to ask questions.

That Hungry Brain

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Every known thing today had its origin in the six days of creation week. On the sixth day man was formed of the dust of the ground (Genesis 2:7), from the very same elements from which the earth was created. God blessed our first parents, Adam and Eve, instructing them to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth, giving them dominion or rulership of all of creation. In order to have dominion over the earth that is around you, you must have dominion over the earth from which you are made.

God gave the human race every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it would be theirs for food (Genesis 1:29).

The nutrition, the elements from the ground in the foods that we eat, and our lifestyle, has a direct reflection on our general health and also brain functions and thoughts. We know that the physical structure of the brain is the medium through which the mind works to receive spiritual messages and enable a relationship with God.

If you build a house, it must be built from the basement up and not from the attic down. The body is the physical foundation, the basement is the structure of your life and the brain is the centrepiece of our interface with God. Without a sound physical structure, there will be impairments in our relationship with God. Nutrition influences memory so that the brain, the capacity to learn, and the ability to have self-control over behaviour and moods are affected by the food eaten.

Each day we ingest any number of compounds that we know influence mental function. We do not want to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol but under the influence of the Holy Spirit. That is the influence that convicts us to eat according to the will and word of God. We are in a battle for the brain, the operating mechanism of the mind. God does not talk to your finger or your toe; He communicates with your mind.

If a person decides not to eat vegetables, they may very well become one! Repeated poor food choices and eating habits can set fundamental patterns in the production of the brain chemicals that regulate appetite and mood so that they become a victim of mood swings, food cravings, poor sleeping habits, and other emotional problems.

The Purpose of Eating

The purpose of eating is to receive nourishment. We are admonished in 1 Corinthians 10:31 that, “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” We should be more mindful of eating only that which is nourishing, according to God’s purpose.

The heart feeds blood to the brain. Foods that are eaten are processed through the digestive system; then through the liver before entering into the bloodstream and circling around the body and then feed the mind. It has been found that older diabetic women have a 74% increased risk of inability to think because of diabetes. The brain cells which fire electrical messages have pathways where nerve transmission moves along by various codes and circuits. These brain circuits are made up of brain cells which are nourished by what is put into the body.

The Purpose of Drinking

The body needs hydration and also cleansing. It is God’s purpose that we keep the body that He gave us healthy, eating that which is nourishing, and drinking according to that which is cleansing. Some beverages, e.g., soda pop, alcohol, coffee, to mention a few, which are consumed in extremely large amounts, are not beneficial for either hydration or cleansing. Some nutritious beverages like juices consumed appropriately meet another purpose. These should be consumed in moderation. Drinking pure clean water not only hydrates the body, but refreshes and also cleanses. There are also a number of herb teas that are cleansing or nourishing, or both.

We transgress the law when we “knoweth to do good, and doeth it not” (James 4:17); by killing ourselves slowly on the installment plan or by neglecting the laws of health, it is still murder. The enemy wants to destabilize the physical foundation so that the attic comes tumbling down. And the enemy wants to destroy your body so that your mind cannot know God. We have been told that God will say to some, “I never knew you” (Matthew 7:23), because you were not able to know Him.

Studies have been done on the effect of insulin resistance on the pancreas, the retina, and other organs. What about the effect on the brain? No one seems to consider the brain. For every Alzheimer’s patient, there are eight older people who suffer enough memory loss to significantly harm their quality of life, yet have no dementia-causing disease. This is because the physical body is being so stressed that the mind is being drained. Diets high in saturated fats, refined foods, and refined sugars cause brain drain.

Drinking beverages that are not cleansing to the body causes the body to rebel. The body begins to marshal water from the muscles and other parts of the body in an attempt to dilute whatever has been put into the stomach before passing into the intestines, and then into the bloodstream, and liver. The body gets all the water it can and tries to rush it over to the kidneys demanding them to “do your job; get rid of that stuff, because this guy doesn’t know what he’s doing!” These stimulating, dehydrating drinks are destroying us as a people.

If the brain is not sufficiently hydrated, it may lead to impairment with respect to reasoning. The thing that separates man from the animal kingdom is the ability to reason. Man has been so equipped with the power of choice but, if the right electricity is not supplied, the equipment will not function and learning, reaction time, alertness, among other things, are affected. When found in a difficult spiritual situation, it is imperative to be able to reason correctly, and be able to react in a quick fashion. Some of the ways the brain is tested with mental status examinations are to check if the attention span is impaired, concentration, the working memory, dialling a phone number, and picture recognition.

A person who is always making lists, and never completing any of them, may be suffering from poor eating habits. Word recall, abstract reasoning, and being able to conceptualize the message require understanding concepts and intellectual performance. All of these things are affected: short-term memory; long-term memory; spatial memory, like a rat in a maze; logical memory.

High fat and sugar cause problems with the structure of the brain, affecting its function. High fat and sugar alter blood sugar metabolism, promoting high insulin levels and hinder the oxygen-nutrient access causing free-radical damage.

Many years ago anti-oxidants and free radicals were unheard of, but now this is common language in the medical field. These things cause damage to the body when not eating healthfully, impeding circulation and intensifying nutrient deficiencies and hormones in the brain so that the nerve cells are damaged.

Time For an Oil Change

The body needs oil and the body needs cholesterol, but the stomach does not need cholesterol. Cholesterol does not need to be ingested. The body makes cholesterol from the fats that you eat, from the right fats, so we need an oil change. Taking out that old, dirty oil and replacing it with good oil may improve the attention and cognitive function, and in the elderly, lower the LDL cholesterol and elevate the HDL. LDL is the bad type just because we generally have it too high. The HDL is supposed to be high because it functions to help keep things in balance.

Exercise is the main thing that helps HDL, and proper diet lowers the LDL.

Plant foods provide phytochemicals, vitamins, minerals, superior fats, and superior proteins. Plant foods promote lower dementia risk. Remember your veggies. If you don’t eat your vegetables, you might become one! If you don’t eat your vegetables, your brain is going to be drained and will not be able to function properly. Low fruit and vegetable intake is linked to higher levels of damage to nerve tissue, resulting in shrinkage of vital memory centres.

Antioxidants have a beneficial effect on almost any degenerative human disease. Eat smart to be smart!

May God give us a desire to want to serve Him fully and to be loyal to Him so that we will not be slowly impressed with the enemy’s character and paralyzed from the neck up, but that we will have His liberating influence and receive His seal.

"Little children, keep yourselves from idols." 1 JOHN 5:21
DANIEL
CH. 1
The experience of Daniel and his three friends, which in only ten days showed them healthier than the others, proves that the diet God provided is the right one. Daniel 1:8-16.
Note: Beyond "portion, delicacies," there is no detail given on the King's menu, in this chapter-- so we would be hard-pressed to conclude the lack of a proper, balanced diet was Daniel's main concern with the arrangement.

This story's primary concern seems to be the recruitment of the (wisest and most beautiful) young men from Judah, in order to teach them the "literature and language of the Chaldeans"... and, we must assume, to serve their god.
Otherwise, there would be no conflict.
-- (chapter, here)

This chapter is a great example of how one Kingdom will try to (most thoroughly) take over the people of another Kingdom--> heart, mind and spirit.

Some historians believe... the term Chaldean was used more often to refer to a social class of highly educated people than to a race of men. link
Not much has changed since then.*

Further commentary on Daniel's abstention--
ELLICOTT
v. 8 Daniel purposed in his heart.
—He was cautious from the first.
He feared that he might eat something that had been
consecrated to idols.
(See 1 Corinthians 8).
Ellicott's Commentary for English Readers

*More on the Chaldeans:
At the height of the Babylonian Empire, the Chaldeans were an influential and highly educated group of people.

Some historians believe that, after Persia conquered Babylon, the term Chaldean was used more often to refer to a social class of highly educated people than to a race of men. The Chaldeans influenced Nebuchadnezzar’s decision to throw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into the fiery furnace (Daniel 3:8) and were well known as wise men and astrologers during the time of Jewish captivity in Babylon. (Daniel 1:4; 2:10; 4:7; 5:7, 11).

At the time of Daniel, Babylon was the intellectual center of western Asia, and the Chaldeans were renowned for their study and knowledge of astrology and astronomy. They kept detailed astronomical records for over 360 years, which can help us understand how the wise men from the East would have been able to recognize and follow the star that would lead them to the King of the Jews (Matthew 2:2).

MACLAREN
Daniel
He was determined, in his brave young heart, not to ‘defile’ himself with the king’s meat. [meat simply means portion or delicacies, here.]
The phrase points to the pollution incurred by eating things offered to idols, and does not imply scrupulousness like that of Pharisaic times...
Probably there had been some kind of religious consecration of the food to Babylonian gods, and Daniel, in his solitary faithfulness, was carrying out the same principles which Paul afterwards laid down for Corinthian Christians as to partaking of things offered to idols.
The motive here, then, is distinctly religious.
You must not bow down to their gods
or serve them or follow their practices...
So you shall serve the LORD your God,
and He will bless your bread
and your water.

EXODUS 23:24-25

Where are their gods...
who ate the fat of their sacrifices
and drank the wine of their
drink offering?

DEUTERONOMY 32:37-38
~
As for dietary law--
All things are lawful, but not all things are beneficial.
-- observed in the Spirit of 1 Corinthians 10, which covers the mutual respect of liberties which ought to be present between believers, in the new Covenant.

It’s a Big Job to Run a Body

Do you ever say, “I’m dog tired—don’t feel like I could do another thing. I’m just too bushed to eat.”

Well, no wonder. In addition to your regular job, if you are an adult of about average weight, it has been estimated that every 24 hours

Your heart beats 103,689 times
Your blood travels 168 million miles
You breathe 23,040 times
You inhale 438 cubic feet of air
You eat 3¼ pounds of food
You drink 2.9 quarts of liquids
You eliminate 7/8 of a pound of waste
You move 750 muscles, some of them subconsciously but constantly
You exercise 7,000,000 brain cells
You speak 7,800 words, not all of them necessary, of course

Did you ever consider how perfectly your body is timed and controlled? How does it maintain a normal temperature of 98.6 degrees, how is the blood pressure regulated just right, why do you breathe an average of 16 times and your heart beat 72 times a minute? How is food chemically digested and the nutritive part transformed into body tissue—bone and muscle, blood and skin, hair and nails—and properly distributed, while wastes and poisons are eliminated with no ill effects?

Adapted from Abundant Living.

“Life is a gift of God. Our bodies have been given us to use in God’s service, and He desires that we shall care for and appreciate them. Our bodies must be kept in the best possible condition physically, and under the most spiritual influences. …

“A pure, healthy life is most favorable for the perfection of Christian character and for the development of the powers of mind and body. …

“The harmonious, healthy action of all the powers of body and mind results in happiness; the more elevated and refined the powers, the more pure and unalloyed the happiness.” My Life Today, 125

“But now, Oh Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and all we are the work of Your hand” (Isaiah 64:8).

The human body contains trillions of cells, 78 organs, and over 60,000 miles of blood vessels, if stretched from end-to-end. Amazingly, they all work together to keep you alive.

Each of the 78 organs belongs to one of ten body systems. A body system is a group of parts that work together to serve a common purpose. These systems interconnect and depend upon each other to function. This is known as homeostasis and the process causes all these systems to maintain internal stability and balance. A disease or problem in one body system can disrupt homeostasis and consequently cause trouble in other body systems. For example, the heart does not beat unless the brain and nervous system tell it to, and the skeletal system is dependent on the nutrients gained from the digestive system to enable it to build strong, healthy bones.

The ten body systems are:

Circulatory
Respiratory
Nervous
Muscular
Skeletal
Digestive
Endocrine (hormones)
Lymphatic, or immune system
Reproductive
Integumentary (skin, hair)

So let’s see how this all works. The circulatory system consists of the heart and a complex network of blood vessels that run throughout the body. The heart pumps blood through the blood vessels and this performs a function that works with other systems. As the blood passes through the digestive system, it picks up nutrients absorbed from your last meal and these are delivered to the skeletal, muscular, and integumentary systems to help make body tissue. Oxygen taken in by the lungs, part of the respiratory system, is absorbed into the blood vessels and is carried back to the heart (because the muscles of the heart cannot function without oxygen), and ultimately to the brain—we all know what happens if there is a lack of oxygen in the brain. The brain regulates heart rate and blood pressure and the position of your bones by controlling the muscles. The circulatory system also carries hormones from the endocrine system and white blood cells from the immune system to help fight off infection. It also picks up waste products, including carbon dioxide, and carries them off to the kidneys and lungs for disposal.

Adapted from How the Body Systems are Connected by The Live Better Team at reverehealth.com

“Our bodies are a wonderful exhibition of God’s incomprehensible skill and unceasing goodness. They are not to be trifled with. With all the power of a sanctified mind and a purified soul, they are to be consecrated to God.” The Signs of the Times, April 4, 1900

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well” (Psalm 139:14).

“We are in a world that is opposed to righteousness and purity of character and to a growth in grace. Wherever we look, we see corruption and defilement, deformity and sin. And what is the work that we are to undertake here just previous to receiving immortality? It is to preserve our bodies holy, our spirits pure, that we may stand forth unstained amid the corruptions teeming around us in these last days. And if this work is accomplished, we need to engage in it at once, heartily and understandingly.” Counsels on Health, 44, 45

“God is the great caretaker of the human machinery. In the care of our bodies we must cooperate with Him. Love for God is essential for life and health. In order to have perfect health our hearts must be filled with hope, and love, and joy.” God’s Amazing Grace, 147

Rest.

When a person is tired, the first thing he thinks about is rest. In many cases rest restores energy so that a person can work efficiently again.

Rooted in the story of Creation is the seven-day week, with the seventh day set aside for rest. Many have attempted to disregard this principle in the drive to make a living, get rich, or accomplish certain goals. It was proved during World War II that factory production actually increased as the work week was shortened from 60 hours to 40 hours.

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God” (Exodus 20:8-10).

Why Is Sleep Needed?

When the body is denied sleep long enough, the electroencephalogram, a machine that records the brain’s electrical activity, will begin to show repeated sleep spindles. These are episodes of microsleep which last just three to six seconds each, but do add up over a period of time. In many activities they might not be noticed, but are most dangerous when one is driving a car.

One has no control over these microsleep episodes. They occur suddenly and without warning when sleep is lacking. Just a few hours’ sleep will restore alertness.

After as short a time as 36 hours without sleep, there is impaired thinking, loss of attention, and poor memory. Time sense is lost. Eye symptoms occur—itching, burning, blurred vision, and double vision.

With continued sleep loss, perception of reality is weakened; delusions and hallucinations may occur similar to schizophrenia. There is an 80 percent decrease in ability to perform tasks that require accuracy.

If dreaming rapid eye movement or REM sleep is suppressed, irritability or depression can occur, and some persons become severely anxious. Experiments have also shown that dream-deprived subjects are much less able to adapt to stress. REM sleep loss tends to be cumulative, and must be made up in part. It is also thought that memory is consolidated, organized, and corrected during REM sleep.

Sleeping is closely bound to the daily cycle of life. If the sleeping habits are irregular, such as having to work a night shift from time to time, a person may become hyper irritable, critical, irrational, or even childish. The sleep pattern may require up to two weeks to return to normal.

How to Sleep Well.

Keep active during the day. Moderate-to-vigorous exercise is most helpful. Nothing promotes sleep like being tired physically.

Go to bed on an empty stomach. Supper had best be a light meal, and at least several hours before bedtime, so that digestion is completed.
Have a regular time for sleep. You will tend to get sleepy at the same time every night.

Avoid drugs. Avoid drinks containing caffeine, which will keep you awake. Get off sleeping pills that suppress REM sleep. Alcohol is also a drug, and will suppress REM sleep even in small amounts.

Be at peace with God and your fellow man. “The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).

Rest is not synonymous with sleep. Four types of rest are:

Physical Rest -- sitting, lying down, or relaxing. Not eating late at night or before bed.

Sensory Rest -- quietness and refraining from using the eyes.

Emotional Rest -- a withdrawing from the ups and downs caused by person interaction.

Mental Rest -- a detaching of the mind from all intellectual demands or activity.

"A life in Christ is a life of restfulness. There may be no ecstasy of feeling, but there should be an abiding peaceful trust. Your hope is not in yourself; it is in Christ. Your weakness is united to His strength, your ignorance to His wisdom, your frailty to His enduring might....Let the mind dwell upon His love, upon the beauty, the perfection of His character." -- Steps to Christ.

The prohibition against eating fat... in the Bible.
Fat...
Leviticus 3:17, "This shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall eat neither fat nor blood.’ ”

Leviticus 7:22-25, "And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘You shall not eat any fat, of ox or sheep or goat. And the fat of an animal that dies naturally, and the fat of what is torn by wild beasts, may be used in any other way; but you shall by no means eat it. For whoever eats the fat of the animal of which men offer an offering made by fire to the Lord, the person who eats it shall be cut off from his people."

I don't need to say much about the consumption of fat because its obvious why God forbade it for health reasons. Its saturated fat which raises cholesterol in the blood and can increase the risk of heart disease and stroke and many other diseases.

Science has confirmed this. God knew this of course and wanted/wants to protect us all from preventable diseases and misery as much as possible in this sinful world.
This is a very misleading interpretation.

The people were told not to eat the "fat"
because it didn't belong to them.

The verse is meant for instruction in the proper way to sacrifice a goat under the old covenant. I've posted the verses in context, below.

And the priest shall burn them
on the altar as a food offering
with a pleasing aroma.
All fat is the LORD’s. *
It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations... LEV. 3:16-17
* Applies to the "suet" in aforementioned animals, in vv. 14-15. It isn't prohibited apparently in other animals, nor is it unhealthy (but it's gross, imo).

In Acts 15:29 the apostles explain to the Gentile believers that there are certain aspects of the health and Levitical laws that still apply (its confirmation they were still and always will be valid)...
Blood is still off the table, as it were.

As for the rest-- the interpretation is completely divorced from the message of Christ--> ... my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Read in context, we see Paul's advisory was given for this very reason.

Specifically, due to the error of the "Circumcision Party"--> some of the Pharisees, who were believers (and later acquiesced to Paul and Peter), insisted the Gentiles must follow the law of Moses in order to be saved. So Paul and Barnabas paid them a visit... :)

But some men... were teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved... and "order them to keep the law of Moses."

Obviously, that is not true.
(see spoiler "context"- below)
... God made a choice among you,
that by my mouth the Gentiles should
hear the word of the gospel and believe ... and-- bore witness to them, by giving
them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us...
having cleansed their hearts by faith.
Now, therefore...
why are you putting God to the test
by placing a yoke on the neck of the
disciples that neither our fathers nor
we have been able to bear?
But we believe that we will be saved
through the grace of the Lord Jesus,
just as they will.”

And the decision--

Therefore my judgment is that we should
not trouble those of the Gentiles who turn
to God, but should write to them to
abstain from the things polluted by idols,
and from sexual immorality, and from
what has been strangled, and from blood.

COMMENTARY
... and the sense is -
Why do you try God's patience by your provocation in putting an unbearable yoke upon the necks of those who believe?
Or, "as if he had not power to save by faith"
M. HENRY
... we shall be freed from the burdens some try to lay upon the disciples of Christ. Paul and Barnabas showed by plain matters of fact, that God owned the preaching of the pure gospel to the Gentiles without the law of Moses; therefore to press that law upon them, was to undo what God had done.

BARNES
Why tempt ye God? - ...
Why, since he has shown his determination to accept them without such rites, do you provoke him by attempting to impose on his own people rites without his authority, and a against his manifest will? The argument is, that God had already accepted them. To attempt to impose these rites would be to provoke him to anger; to introduce observances which he had shown it was his purpose should now be abolished.

And after there had been much debate,
Peter stood up and said to them...

“Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you,
that by my mouth the Gentiles should
hear the word of the gospel and
believe
.

And God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them, by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, and he made no distinction between us and them, having cleansed their hearts by faith.

Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?

But we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they will.”
Brothers, listen to me. Simeon has related how God first visited the Gentiles, to take from them a people for his name. And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written:
“‘After this I will return,
and I will rebuild the tent of David that has fallen;
I will rebuild its ruins,
and I will restore it,
that the remnant of mankind may seek the Lord,
and all the Gentiles who are called by my name,
says the Lord, who makes these things known from of old.’
Therefore my judgment is that we should not trouble those of the Gentiles who turn to God, but should write to them to abstain from the things polluted by idols, and from sexual immorality, and from what has been strangled, and from blood.

3They will prohibit marriage and require abstinence from certain foods that God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

“‘After this I will return,
and I will rebuild the tent of David that has fallen;
Just because fat was used in the sanctuary doesn't mean the Israelites were allowed to eat it. The story of Eli's sons eating fat in
1 Samuel 2:12-36 proves that Eli's sons were corrupt and ate the prime cuts of meat with fat from the peace offering and became overweight. Eli failed to discipline his sons even though God had warned him to correct his family’s evils, but no correction was made. Eventually God cut off Eli's family line from the priesthood and gave it to other people.

Also remember Leviticus 3:17 says, "‘This shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall eat neither fat nor blood.’ ” This means all the generations until Jesus returns. And it means all those who obey God's will.

Plus have you forgotten the story of Daniel and his friends in Daniel 1 who refused to eat the rich food in king Nebuchadnezzar's court? "Please test your servants for ten days, and let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then let our appearance be examined before you, and the appearance of the young men who eat the portion of the king’s delicacies; and as you see fit, so deal with your servants.” And at the end of ten days their features appeared better and fatter in flesh than all the young men who ate the portion of the king’s delicacies. Thus the steward took away their portion of delicacies and the wine that they were to drink, and gave them vegetables" (Daniel 1:12-13, 15-16).

The fat of animals has never been okay to eat biblically and that is because it causes illness to humans. God knew that and now we all know that animal fat is not good for the heart and blood circulation. It took until relatively recently for doctors to find out and teach that. The Jews who followed the health laws of the Bible were healthy people as a result. Now the whole world can follow the health laws and be healthy too.

Why Cow’s Milk is So Dangerous!

We have been programmed to accept not only that milk is “good,” but absolutely necessary for good health. We've been told if we don’t drink enough milk, we won’t get enough calcium. Our bones won't be strong.

Breast milk of a human mother is the ideal source of nutrition for a human baby most people would agree. Absolutely! That is God’s plan for almost the total nutritional intake of a human baby for at least the first year of life. On human breast milk, a baby will grow strong and healthy and develop a strong immune system (especially if mother is eating a healthy diet).

Most people will probably agree as well that under normal circumstances human breast milk is the perfect food for a human baby! I also believe that they would also agree that human breast milk is NOT the perfect food for a baby cow.

Now, if we do not believe human breast milk is the perfect food for a baby cow, why do we believe that cow milk is the perfect food for a human baby?

The Difference Between Human Babies and Calves.

I believe that everyone reading this will acknowledge there is a huge difference between human babies and baby cows at birth and at maturity.

Let’s begin with birth weight:

Human babies usually weigh in the 7 to 8-pound range at birth

A baby Holstein cow’s birth weight is in the 100-pound range.

The average human adult, worldwide, is in the 150-pound range.

A Holstein cow’s mature weight is in the 1,500-pound range.

Next, the protein content of human breast milk is less than 5%, and is designed by God to double the baby’s birth weight in approximately 180 days.

The protein content of cow’s milk is approximately 15% (300% of human breast milk protein content) and formulated by God to double birth weight in 45 days.

The protein content of rat’s milk is approximately 20% (400% of human breast milk protein content) and designed to double birth weight in 5 days.

Please note the correlation between percentage of protein and time necessary to double birth weights. God knew what He was doing when he created each animal species, and that He knew what he was doing when He specifically formulated the milk of each species exclusively for that particular species?

In nature, other than an extraordinarily rare circumstance of one species nursing the orphaned offspring of another, you will not find an animal of one species ever consuming the milk of another species on a regular basis. Animals in the wild are possibly wiser than we so-called intelligent humans!

Colin Campbell, PhD, a prestigious nutritional biochemist, and author of The China Study, (Benbella Books, Dallas, Texas), writes: “Isn’t it strange that we’re the only species that suckles from another species.”

And though Dr. Campbell grew up on a dairy farm and prided himself that he could drink a gallon or more of milk a day, after years of research he’s convinced that cow’s milk is responsible for a huge share of our nation’s physical problems. The bottom line for Dr. Campbell is simple: “It’s unnatural to drink milk.”

Think about that statement for a moment. How many animals in the wild “DRINK” milk after weaning? The answer – NOT A SINGLE ONE!

Might the animals in the wild be wiser by instinct than we humans are by following the teachings of the nutritional experts and the advertising of the milk producing industry of this world?

There are some 5,000 species of mammals on earth, and God formulated the milk of each species for that specific species.

As we continue, we are going to learn that when we attempt to nourish a human baby, child, teenager, or adult with cow’s milk—milk coming from another species of animal—it becomes one of the most foolish and dangerous things we can do. And it doesn’t matter whether the milk is organic or not! Both are equally dangerous and destructive to the human body!

Cow’s Milk Protein: 87% Casein.

Casein is a powerful binder, a polymer used to make plastics, and the glue used in making sturdy furniture. It can also be found in many foods as a binder. But it is also a powerful allergen, causing a histamine release that creates excess mucus, and is responsible for many of our children’s physical ills.

Of even greater concern is that casein, according to Dr. Campbell, was found to grow cancer faster than any other thing fed to cancer-induced rats.

In his research, Dr. Campbell found that casein, which makes up 87% of cow’s milk protein, consistently and strongly promoted all stages of cancer development. Alternatively, proteins obtained from plants did not promote cancer at all, even at higher levels of intake.

Also, of serious concern regarding cancer is that one of those 59 hormones found in cow’s milk is insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1). This hormone is a key factor in the rapid growth and proliferation of breast, prostate, and colon cancers, and is suspect in the growth of ALL cancers.

Is Cow’s Milk The Best Source of Calcium For Bone Health?

Where do cows get the calcium that builds their big bones? They get it from the green grass they eat! The calcium in plants has a large amount of magnesium, a mineral necessary for the body to absorb and use the calcium. The calcium in cow’s milk is basically useless in building bones, because it has insufficient magnesium content. Those nations with the highest intake of milk/dairy consumption have the highest rates of osteoporosis.

Cow’s milk has 300% of the calcium of human breast milk, but it is not very usable because in order to be absorbed and used there must be an adequate quantity of magnesium. When a cow eats grass, that cow gets all the calcium it needs for their big bones only because grass contains a substantial amount of magnesium. When humans consume large quantities of greens, they not only get the calcium the body needs, but the magnesium needed by the body to utilize that calcium.

Interestingly, though cow’s milk contains 300% of the calcium of human breast milk, it only has enough magnesium to absorb around 11% of that calcium.

Another serious concern here is the acidity of cow’s milk. The more milk and cheese, along with animal flesh a person consumes, the more acidic the body becomes. In an effort to neutralize this acidity, the body removes calcium (an alkaline mineral) from the bones to neutralize that acidity, thus possibly causing soft bones and ultimately osteoporosis and hip fractures.

Disparities between calcium intake and bone health can be seen worldwide. The more dairy that people consume, the more susceptible they become to hip fractures. The 12-year Harvard Nurses’ Health Study, involving 78,000 nurses, found that those who got the most calcium from dairy products had approximately double the hip fracture rate, compared to women who got little or no calcium from dairy products. In other words, the more dairy in your diet, the higher your risk of breaking bones.

It shouldn't be surprising then that osteoporosis seems to be more common in countries where the consumption of dairy products is high. Oddly, plant based and vegan diets are often criticized on the grounds that they will lead to severe calcium depletion. There is, however, no evidence that this is true. In fact, studies have shown the exact opposite to be true.
