so I watched the new Hocus Pocus. Ill admit the first one is a guilty pleasure/Halloween tradition. I watched it with trepidation, disney are well into the woke smog and sequels have a habit of ruining the original.

Spoiler for those who dont want to know

1/The first film - never made witches out to be good. From the first few minutes we know the witches are evil. They eat children's souls and the protagonists need to get rid of them for humanity.

The second film - totally flips this. Suddenly the witches have a backstory that shows them as abused, misunderstood kids forced into social norms of the time (Winifred is being pushed into marrying a man as a 16 year old). They are the victims. A witch gives them a book which helps them escape these social pressures. They suddenly have power.

When they end up back int he present they are viewed as semi hero's. No longer are they a scary story to tell children on Halloween but some sort of heros to emulate. Kids want pictures with them. people dress up as them not as evil witches but because they want to be them.

2/ first film - The protagonists are a white boy whose sister is killed by the sisters in the 16th century and a white boy and his sister, plus a girlfriend in the modern age. Non are witches, have powers or even cool. In fact, the modern boy is bullied. They are the good guys that have to fight satanic witches.

The second film - the main protagonists are three girls, one black, one in the middle and a white girl and the white girls idiotic boyfriend (like beyond idiotic) there are no bullies, the boy doesn't even know he was being rude. The lead girl is later discovered to be a natural witch when she turns 16. Her birthday being Halloween. suddenly being a witch is good, its something amazing. Everyone thinks she is amazing. All three girls enjoy doing witchcraft since children and this is pointed out throughout the movie. The main story seems to be witchcraft is amazing and totally fun. The sisters live for each other and the three friends from the present find witchcraft is a bonding experience and people just dont understand how bonding it is.

3/First movie - Throughout the movie its about kids being kids, messing about who end up igniting a candle that brings witches back. Families go trick or treating, adults go to a party or house parties. Everything is just family fun. The only evil is the Sanderson sisters who the kids go out to destroy. Wholesome but spooky. And yes there are some 'adult ' jokes only the adult would understand but are pretty innocent and would go over the head of kids. So fun for all the family. For example, Winifred asks a coach driver ''we desire children,' meaning to catch and eat but the bus driver says ''ell it might take me a couple of tries but ill give it a go'' pretty innocent but a bit of fun.

Second movie - oh we have the trans agenda straight away. A boy is dressed up as a Sanderson sister. They really make the point this is a boy but he is dressing as a girl. During a Sanderson sister lookalike contest we have a group of trannies dressed up as the women, doing classic drag queen woman face. They are the main focus of this scene.

The main thing about this second movie is the sisters are no longer evil. They are now fun, something to copy. Which the young girls do by the end. People want to be the witches when in the last movie they were something to worry about. Its all about kids look how cool it is to do witch craft. Its also worth noting all the white men are stupid. Like full on idiots even the white mayor who is so childlike its almost insulting. There are two white men and both are idiots. This really stood out.

------

Its worth mentioning during the premier I found Bettys clothes fascinating.

Agree, lots of gay and transgender nonsense. More witchcraft = female empowerment
Can’t imagine anyone allowing their kids to watch anything Disney. Not to mention how cringe everything is on Disney+

There was also the “eating children makes us young” which really stood out to me. One of the witches respond “how else do we stay this young?”
Equating face lotions with potions. Asking if they have the souls of children to make them work.

Anyone mentioned this new rom com movie.

A romcom with gay men. The trailer keeps popping up on discovery + in which they joke about ''do you remember straight people.'' ''yeah they had a nice run''
Its not very popular and the director has accused people of being homophobes if they don't watch it

Try and stomach the trailor. Its funny though looking at the comments on the video. I think the LBGTKKDJFKDDK!"1 spell is dying. Even gay people hate it

She hulk. No idea if someones pointed this one out. It tells women and girls to be promiscuous, Drink excessively, hate your parents even when tehy are good people, and that the only way for women to get anywhere is to be a diversity hire. But mostly the ending teaches girls and women that they should not be responsible for their actions, that committing crimes s ok if you are a woman. But the opposite for men

I do not understand why every single show must have a sodomite or a Gomorrahite. Especially when it has nothing to do with the show.

And once again I am watching a show with a minor that has magically turned homosexual.

^I meant I am tired of this…

Call the midwife is on the woke bandwagon now. A show based in the 1950s-60s has a doctor who is pro gay and now we have the racism storyline in the new season. Lecturing the evil whites on racism

Willow:
  • Horrible casting and script
  • Weak characters reliance on nostalgia and tokenism
  • Forced awkward lesbian pairing
  • Cringy lines
Poor motivations possibly due to bad acting or horrible script

Netflix: Dead End: Paranormal Park

Quite a few but one in particular could be a good article here as it has a lot to unpack.
The main protagonist is an older teenage trans girl to boy who is gay. They are old enough to get a job but struggles to keep one. He is coded with the customary blue hair and earring in left ear. He doesn’t behave like a campy gay but struggles with his self-esteem and trauma from his grandmother who is portrayed as a “religious zealot” because she wants him to dress like a girl. He gets a job at a theme park based around a Marylin Monroe type character Pauline Phoenix voiced by “Miss Coco Peru” a drag Queen YouTube personality out of LA?
The first episode covers the main character leaving home and running away to live in the haunted mansion of the theme park, where they meet a demon as the mansion happens to have a portal to hell. A satanic ritual goes wrong and the main characters pug (because what the hell) is possessed by a demon king. While the show has a N7 rating, it pushes the boundaries with the content from promoting a passive attitude toward demonic activity normalizing ritual and gender fluidity to selfish attitudes disguised as “personal truth”. A good lie always has some truth to it. The thing that has me conflicted is the characature of the parents and family dynamic. It is a cleverly constructed view that puts the protagonist as the “victim” removing any shred of personal responsibility and agency to defend his choice. While a dialogue happens near the end, it is only due to the trauma his baby brother endures being chased and terrorized by a demonic entity. In other words sacrificed.
I watched the first season but I’m not sure about season two. It’s more of the same. However, the show has gotten quite a bit of recognition for its agenda and story.
There is more to unpack here and I’m typing this on a phone so… I am going to leave it here.

The Witcher: Blood Origin

Cringey woke garbage show since Cavill is gone.
Even the critics gave it a 35% on Rotten Tomatoes with 9% from the audience.

"Diverse strong female" lead: Checked
White men portrayed as dumb: Checked
Utter shit writing: Checked

The start of the first episode was filmed UPSIDE DOWN. How effing stupid is this. Then some character says "fuckity fuckity fuckity..." like he just discovered the word fuck.

This one is going to get cancelled as well and the showrunners will scream racism and misogyny again.

At this point, it's obvious they're not doing these sort of garbage for money.
Stop watching TV or any streaming media channels, they're full of rubbish.

Once again with one season almost finished with Alice in Borderland, they need to “ add insult to injury” and add a tranny subplot no one asked for.

They added an obvious tranny to a show already full of hidden trannies.

I finally started watching this series (I thought I'd never find a guide to pair my remote, but I was lucky to find it on this site). I'm only on the 3rd episode, so I can't say for sure about the whole season, but I find this TV show to be pretty intense. I read that some people liked it more than Squid Game.
