No but there are. Doesn't matter if you break them into categories they are all laws. They are not and you know that now.

How can you claim to be saved by grace and obediance? The definition of grace is a free gift. How can you claim to have received the gift for free when you're in fact trying to purchase it? Anyone can claim Jesus. The ones he rejects are those who say " Lord Lord haven't we done many great WORKS in your name?", the he tells them he never knew them, because they've relied on these works instead of his works on the cross.I'm not scared of freedom, because freedom is what we get when we are saved through grace, and do God's will. We have absolute liberty in Christ. I have experienced it.
Galatians 5:1, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
Galatians 5:13, "For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."
There are no 613 laws to obey in the Bible unless one keeps Old Testament feasts and Ceremonial laws plus other laws that have become null and void as I explained to you using the Word of God. Unless you're Jewish and don't believe in Jesus Christ as Messiah, there are no all those laws any more.No but there are. Doesn't matter if you break them into categories they are all laws.
Thank you. The Sabbath is not a denominational belief, its biblical doctrine, one of the ten commandments and all Christians are supposed to keep it. In fact all human beings are supposed to keep it.Just because someone keeps the Sabbath as Jesus did doesn't mean they are a Seventh Day Adventist. Any religious organization can claim whatever they want, doesn't mean they own it. Just as the Old Testament doesn't belong to Jews, the New Testament doesn't belong to Christians and the Quran doesn't belong to Muslims. God's word is for everyone that wishes to read it, or abide in it. The Sabbath day is for the observation of keeping holy the remembrance of God creating the universe in six days and then resting on the seventh, as written in the book of Genesis. As we know it was one of the Commandments given to Moses for the descendants of Jacob and whoever else was grafted in as an Israelite. Historically Sunday is known to be a pagan holiday in honor of the sun. Jesus kept the Sabbath and made it known to the Pharisees that it was not unlawful to do good deeds on that day. The Pharisees are considered by many to be the politicians of their day. In fact many Christians, non Christians and Bible publications regard Jesus as King of the Sabbath, or Lord of the Sabbath. It is what it is.
Matthew
12:1 At that time Jesus went on the Sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.
12:2 But when the politicians saw [it], they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the Sabbath day.
12:3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;
12:4 How he entered into the "House of God", and did eat the showbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
12:5 Or have ye not read in the Law, how that on the Sabbath days the priests in the Temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?
12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is [one] greater than the Temple.
12:7 But if ye had known what [this] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice (you), ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
12:8 For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath day.
12:9 And when he was departed thence, he went into their church:
12:10 And, behold, there was a man which had [his] hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath days? that they might accuse him.
12:11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the Sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift [it] out?
12:12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath days.
12:13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched [it] forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.
Mark
2:23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the Sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
2:24 And the politicians said unto him, Behold, why do they on the Sabbath day that which is not lawful?
2:25 And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
2:26 How he went into the House of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the showbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
2:27 And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath:
2:28 Therefore the Son of Man is Lord also of the Sabbath.
3:1 And he entered again into the church; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.
3:2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the Sabbath day; that they might accuse him.
3:3 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.
3:4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
Luke
6:1 And it came to pass on the second Sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing [them] in [their] hands.
6:2 And certain of the politicians said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the Sabbath days?
6:3 And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;
6:4 How he went into the "House of God", and did take and eat the showbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?
6:5 And he said unto them, That the Son of Man is Lord also of the Sabbath.
6:6 And it came to pass also on another Sabbath, that he entered into the church and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
6:7 And the lawyers and politicians watched him, whether he would heal on the Sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
6:8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
6:9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the Sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy [it]?
6:10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
There is more to it than that. Jesus said in Matthew 22:37-40, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
Did you catch that? The Ten Commandments hang from these two commands as our 10 fingers hang from our two hands. They are inseparable because the first four commandments are about our relationship with God and the other six are about our relationships with our neighbours. Those two laws of love are a summary of all the ten commandments. They do not take the place of the Ten Commandments.
1 John 4:16, "And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him." The Bible tells us that love fulfils the law which is essentially what Christ is saying in the two laws that summarise the ten commandments. If we love Christ with all our hearts, souls, and minds, we will obey the first four commandments that have to do with God. We will not take God’s name in vain, worship other gods, etc. If we love our neighbours as we love ourselves, we will obey the last six commandments that relate to our duty to our fellow men. We will not steal from them, lie about them etc. Love will lead to obeying or fulfilling all the law.
Actually the 4th Commandment was made for man.God is ready and willing to forgive us for our sins. Jesus has already paid the price for our sins by giving His life for us on the cross. He asks us to repent, not only for the things we knew we were doing wrong but for the things we have only now realised were wrong. He calls us to worship Him as our creator as the fourth Commandment tells us to.
Are you under the impression that the quran is of God ?Just because someone keeps the Sabbath as Jesus did doesn't mean they are a Seventh Day Adventist. Any religious organization can claim whatever they want, doesn't mean they own it. Just as the Old Testament doesn't belong to Jews, the New Testament doesn't belong to Christians and the Quran doesn't belong to Muslims. God's word is for everyone that wishes to read it, or abide in it.
Yes the Sabbath was made for man. Its for our benefit not God. God doesn’t grow weary from working the way we do. But its the seventh day that God chose and not any other day. God created all the days of the week but He chose the seventh day for worship and rest in Him.Actually the 4th Commandment was made for man.
Jesus said that.
God put the 4th Commandment down in stone so as to ensure at least one day rest from work.
After working for six days... God took a day off.Genesis 2:2-3, "And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made."
Exodus 20:8-10, 11, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it."
He took off the day not because He was tired but because it was an example to us. And that day was the seventh day of the week. Do not ignore that very important part of the commandment. It was the day He blessed and sanctified and asked us all to keep. If we don't, we are breaking the fourth commandment which means we are breaking all ten commandments because if we break one we break them all. After working for six days... God took a day off.
That's it.
Blessed Rest.
God is particular about everything He asks us to do including the Ten commandments. I used examples of Adam and Eve, Cain and Saul in this very thread and there are plenty more examples in the Bible of people who did their own thing instead of obeying God to the letter. So the thread is titled correctly. So that was your whole GOD is particular? It's about the Sabbath? Should have titled it that way. That I can get behind. The sabbath is Saturday not Sunday.
You just refuse to understand the intent behind the 4th Commandment.
I understand the intent of the fourth commandment and I posted more on it in my thread about the Sabbath. I don't want this thread to become about the Sabbath so I've not gone deep into it. If you reject that the seventh day of the week is the Sabbath of the Lord, you reject God, not me.You just refuse to understand the intent behind the 4th Commandment.
Just as you refuse to understand that there were human angelic hybrids and that God promised to restore a remnant in His land.
Your knowledge is not perfect.
