I don’t think this story has broken in MM news just yet, but reports have stated that Israel will offer a 2 month ceasefire to Hamas…I don’t buy this; I think they’re waiting to strike In Ramadan which falls in March this year. That’s when civilians will be at their most vulnerable and weak; observing fasts during daylight hours by abstaining from food and drink. Of course things are already quite horrific already, but they are able to drink and eat whatever they can for now. Ramadan will be very hard if they agree to the ceasefire and the genocide resumes during the Holy Month…

Every Ramadan, particularly in the past 5/6 years, Israel has always attacked or escalated their iron grip on Palestinians. They know the Palestinians are a majority Muslim population and are well aware of their religious obligations in Ramadan.

They’d been threatening him for ages and he posted before Xmas about cold calls and threatening voicemails. There are a few other journalists still there like Bisan and Hind; hopefully they will be safe and evacuated soon.

Ambulances are scarce so horses and donkeys have been used to transport people or medical supplies. Here is a horse that has been targeted by an Israeli strike, suffering before death…
