It strikes me that this is happening at the major Israel's feast day Simchat Thora, 50 years after the Yom Kippur war in 1973 and after talks of peace between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

1- Yes, I've always been surprised that most of the American people have never said "Why are we propping up Israel with truckloads of cash and super-duper weaponry, thereby making us a target as 'Israel's friend? What has Israel ever done for us?"

2- Although Islam recognises Jesus as a prophet, they don't believe he was the Son of God, so they're in danger of the naughty step..
