How to post a thread

I had attempted to make a thread on the entertainment industry section of the website. It mentioned something about being "viewed before being made public" or something like that, and now my post is completely gone.

Any new users experience that or no? And if so, what can be done to fix or circumvent around this issue?

I think you need to make a certain amount of comments or get a certain amount of likes before you can start a thread.
