The medical examiner released the toxicology reports he died from an OD of ketamine. Aka special K. This was a popular rave drug in the 90s and it died off in popularity because other party drugs took its place it was also harder to get as it was often stolen from veterinarians as this drug was used to tranquilize livestock. Personally, an interesting choice and perhaps another sign that Perry was sacrificed.
