Out of the cities before it's too late - Matthew 24:15-16 & Luke 21:20-21!!!
Jesus warned his apostles about the abomination of desolation and told them to flee Jerusalem when they shall see Jerusalem surrounded by the Roman armies. "..know that its desolation is near." In AD 66 when the Roman armies surrounded Jerusalem, they recognized that as the abomination that Jesus warned them about and fled Jerusalem.
Four years later in AD 70 when the Roman army returned led by Titus, it destroyed Jerusalem but not one Christian was harmed because they heeded the warning of Jesus.
The abomination of desolation in our day is going to be the Enforcement of the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16).
And just as Christians fled Jerusalem when they recognized the abomination of desolation in their days, when the mark of the beast is Enforced, that will be a SIGN for Christians to flee the cities of the world into the wilderness regions like mountains to wait for the return of the Lord.
The Prophecy of Revelation 13 & 14:6-13 must be fulfilled. God is in full control. The wrath of God is upon the disobedient, but His obedient children will also be vindicated even during His time of judgment (even some will be put to sleep). Thus all things work together for good to them that love Jehovah God.
Society is being destabilised.
- By fear
- By terrorism
- By vast numbers of people moving in the world especially to certain parts of the world like the US and Europe.
- By everything feeling as if it is running out of control.
Stress is one of the greatest problems of the human race.
Mostly we try to adapt and cope and move on, but with each change we are driven further from where we last felt comfortable. We do not of anything we can hope for in the future.
It is not just an individual or even at local level, but we see it on an international level too. The Bible says there will be, "...upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity..." (Luke21:25).

Satan himself never comes out in the open and says what he is doing or planning. He is always hidden and out of sight using human beings, governments, religions, institutions as agencies to do his work. Perhaps we ought to start putting the blame where it really belongs!

Answer: Satan wants to set up a world empire that will be in opposition to God whom he hates.
Satan wants to take from the world every vestige of God's way of life and replace it with a counterfeit.

- In place of the Bible and creation, he has introduced Philosophy, Science and Evolution.
3. Satan will cause an increasing number of disasters and wars, that will destroy and demoralise vast swathes of humanity. With major financial crashes too, the world will appear about to collapse. Humanity will be wailing for a solution. Now they are where he wants them to be. They are ready to fall at the feet of anybody who can bring this state of afairs to an end.
Then Satan will ready to move to the next phase.

The Mark of the beast is all about worship.
Some Christians do not want to face the coming reality of the prophecy of Revelation 13. “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy, . . . and all the world wondered after the beast . . . . as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13:1-3,15-17).
This is a frightening prophecy indeed. It predicts that a coalition of religious and political powers will align under the leadership of the Antichrist beast to cast the world into a boiling caldron of affliction. There will be a great time of trouble unlike the earth has ever seen before (Daniel 12:1). Some students of Bible prophecy have even suggested this tribulation will be worse than we can imagine.
We are now living in the time of the Christian church's final apostasy, which makes of none effect the commandments of God. We need to see that we are in the midst of fulfilling prophecy and keep our eyes open for the culmination of all things.
Our only sure protection against the abomination of desolation is to give our lives unreservedly to Jesus, loving others as He loves them and worshipping Him in the way that His word teaches. The greatest commandment is simply to love God with all our heart and soul and strength. If we have such love, it will be natural for us to do all things to please and honour Him. In return, He will see us safely through the desolation that will close this earth's history just before He comes again.
It doesn’t seem fair that, in the final crisis, people who have never heard God’s truth will innocently choose a counterfeit and thus be lost. No one will face the final crisis without first having heard (Mark 16:15) and understood (John 1:9) God’s vital three-point message for today (Revelation 14:6-12). People will choose to receive the mark of the beast only because they do not wish to pay the price for following Christ.
Today God is calling His people out of Babylon into the safety of His remnant church. He says that those who remain in Babylon will partake of her sins and receive her plagues. In Noah's day, only eight people entered the ark God had provided for their salvation. All others perished. Today He provides His remnant church as an ark of safety, and millions are entering. Jesus is inviting you and me to "Come thou and all thy house into the ark" (Genesis 7:1).
Look Upon Christ—Assimilate His Image.
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth" (John 1:14).
The strength of nations and of individuals is not found in the opportunities and facilities that appear to make them invincible; it is not found in their boasted greatness. That which alone can make them great or strong is the power of God. They themselves, by their attitude toward His purpose, decide their own destiny.
Human histories relate man’s achievements, his victories in battle, his success in attaining worldly greatness. God’s history describes man as heaven views him. In the divine records all his merit is seen to consist in his obedience to God’s requirements....
The centuries have their mission. Every moment has its work. Each is passing into eternity with its burden.... God is still dealing with earthly kingdoms. He is in the great cities. His eyes behold, His eyelids try, the doings of the children of men. We are not to say, God was, but, God is. He sees the very sparrow’s fall, the leaf that falls from the tree, and the king who is dethroned. All are under the control of the Infinite One. Everything is changing. Cities and nations are being measured by the plummet in the hand of God. He never makes a mistake. He reads correctly. Everything earthly is unsettled, but the truth abides forever.
In the eyes of the world, those who serve God may appear weak. They may be apparently sinking beneath the billows, but with the next billow, they are seen rising nearer to their heaven. I give unto them eternal life, saith our Lord, and none shall be able to pluck them out of My hand. Though kings shall be cast down, and nations removed, the souls that through faith link themselves with God’s purpose shall abide forever.
Fasten your eyes upon Jesus, and by beholding you will become assimilated to His image. SD.
As posted in this thread, in Bible prophecy, a beast represents a government, kingdom, or political power. God uses beasts to symbolize governments, as we do too --an eagle (the United States of America), a bear (Russia), etc. In the Bible, "beast" is not a disrespectful term. It does not suggest beastly characteristics. The beast that has the mark is pictured in Revelation 13:1-10, 15-18.
Don’t forget—all these identification points come directly from the Bible. They are not some human opinion or speculation. Historians could tell you quickly what power is being described, because these points fit only one power—the papacy.
Does the papacy fit these points?
YES -- it fits every point. Come out from this FALSE system of worship before it's destroyed [Revelation 18:4-5].

Lest anyone should think that we are attacking fellow Christians by identifying the LITTLE HORN POWER, please keep in mind that the PROPHECY IS AIMED AT A SYSTEM and not individuals. There are sincere, devout Christians in all churches, including the Catholic faith. REVELATION 13 is simply a message of judgment and correction upon a large religious institution that compromised with paganism, as many other churches have also done.

“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever” (Revelation 11:15).
That is far better than Rome’s universal fraternity, which is wholly man-made and destined for disunity and eternal ruin with the man of sin. God alone will create a one-world kingdom that will be glorious, peaceful, and eternal.
