Here's my thought regarding enlistment: Just effing enlist.Seriously how much are they goona drag this topic. They should say if they want to do or not. Their service is not finding a solution it is going round and round. And whoever that politician is trying so hard to get them free from service using that event. I heard a rumor that a politician is fan of v and daily used to visit set and take v used cloth. Weird

I read an article recently that Jin said he's waiting for Hive to tell him what to do. Hive doesn't have any control over whether or not he enlists. The SK gov't does. BT5 haven't done what is required for enlistment to be waived. Just do the stupid service and call it a day.
@rmy don't even give a crap about Jin anyway. They won't care if he's there or not. Frankly, when YG was out for his "shoulder surgery" they barely cared. (Side note, that YG hologram was the weirdest thing and super creepy. I passionately hated that hologram). So Jin can go into the military, do his thing and BT5 will survive.

Armys are crying so loud because if Jn serves, their faves have to serve. What excuse can Tae, Jk, Jm or the hyungs use if the oldest does his service? They have to keep him out for the exemption. Once he goes that means they all serve.

Oh, yes it is, American films specially has been about indoctrinating the rest of the world, although it was cleverly cloaked. Nowadays they just don't bother hiding it anymore.
This could be an interesting topic for another thread. Infantilization of society these days is quite obvious or people remaining stucked in the teenage mentality. Also, the atomisation of society, too many people feeling lonely and depressed and working in bullshit jobs.
I don't think many people are aware that the propaganda has been there for decades, not just the last 5 years. It's just that, at times it was so subtle, so well dressed as entertainment, that only people with a keen eye could see it.
Exactly, it's the same shit, just at different phases.

I am SO TIRED of those kiddie sound effects they throw in the videos for literally every single little thing! It's so ridiculous. It makes me feel like I'm watching a YT video for a 5 year old playing with clay or toys and not a grown 30 year old man. It's so weird! How can they not feel weirded out by this?? Imagine your fav 30 yo celebrity doing a vlog and add that music in.

This is an EXCELLENT point that I hadn't even thought of. Hive definitely don't want the maknae line to serve, so they'll do whatever they can to keep Jin out.
Here's the issue with that: He is due to go. If they make him wait too long, then he'd be commiting a crime. They can't afford that either. If that happened, it'd make their precious BT5 look bad. Or, they'll try to throw him under the bus and claim they told him to go but he refused, or pass blame to another organization. However, given how strongly Koreans feel about military service, I doubt that the latter will actually happen.
The reason the gov't and Hive are looking for ways to keep them all from serving are because of the money they bring into the country. SK sucks at marketing themselves outside of their own country. Kpop is based on Japanese shuffle groups. They can't even do their own original thing. I knew NOTHING about Koreans before I started listening to Super Junior (I'm not a fan of them anymore, fyi), and frankly, I still know nearly nothing about Koreans. Anything I know I read, and didn't get from kpop. Korean culture isn't appealing to the rest of the world, and Koreans don't like to share their culture anyway. Many old fashioned Koreans hate on other Asians, especially the Japanese, as well.
I'm still furious with JM about the shirt he wore while they were in Japan. Like, that's great, you show up to their country wanting their money for your music while wearing a shirt that celebrates the deaths of thousands of people, most of whom didn't even agree with Japan being involved in WWII. Real good look. /sarcasm

Jin can be annoyingly immature, which is what makes him getting the Maple Story boards really silly. There are plenty of people his age and older (like me) who like cartoonish things but still behave like adults.

Jimin has the label of being one of the best dancers in the entire industry and an "it" boy, JK is the one with the vocals who has been the frontman. V is the worldwide stan attractor and the all time visual LOL. It's just like Eunwoo who has made hella millions off his face. But Eunwoo is fine af, Vee is aging out and his attitude is ruining him for casual observers I think.
The second something leaks about him and jennie that can't be ignored..the fans will jump ship after the first initial fake ass support.
That's why he is probably trying to create his connections and establish a name for himself outside of the OT7 cos he knows the second he goes in for military service, its a wholeeee wrap lol.
