Poor guy. He looks so thin. He might be doing hardcore drugs. His Disney Channel days were wild. Before he land the whole of Hannah Montana, he starred in the animated movie Monster House, which Steven Spielberg produced.

Not much. I do remember some of the scenes were spooky. Maybe there were obvious symbolism. I have to watch it again.

It's funny, because I loved that movie growing up and I still do to this day, but ever since I've become awake about what the media is all about, it's not as easy looking at the same things the same way anymore.
It's an age old trope and there's at least some truth to it, I've seen kids, especially pre-school age, some even with mental disorders, that act smarter than their brain-washed and/or routinised parents. The thing is that in this media, said kids are often past school age, if not teenagers, which is when the dumbing down begins.
