Sad, but true. This just warps people's minds further.

it is true. you can click on any platform and theyd showcase the most disturbing shit that you didnt even want to google or go on reddit and your front page is fileld with useless junk that you didnt want to read. social media can indictrinate someones mind, alter their beleifs and mess with their moods. then it has some way of shoving the worst kinds of entertainment to fill the void in their lives so we only get brief dopamine with momentary distractions from the issues in the world anything after the 00s has been utterly shit not all of it but a lot of it.

thats y we have to limit our useage and only use sites that dont do as much negative impact on our wellbeing. but sadly every other person is online nowadays and most conversations nearly always surround modern day entertainment. when i watch clips of previous generations they looked a lot happier compared to present times

and whats more baffling to me is the way people are enabling others to upload their lives online and expecting others to actually have an interest in it isnt that how a lot of chidl abuse comes about nowadays pushy parents who want to be rich and their kids are rhe actors in the videos. saddening really. thats why im not bringing kids into the world it is unsuitable imho and even thru my experiences schools were most unhelpful and generally a horrid competitive environment and lots of peer pressure to fit in and be a certain way. schools do nothing to tackle any of the issues among students either

i know its never always been spot ln with any eras or decades however without social media i think society would perform better and cope better with situations in the real world otherwise is it not just going to throw everyone into turmoil with the more junk that we have being thrown at society. so many people have displaced happiness cause there is more means to compare ourselves more videos telling folk how to live and who they should or shouldnt be

It's sad how much our society has fallen, and I can agree with the above statement that so much depends on how we look and how important that is to basically everyone.
Just walking down the street, I feel judged by this..I wonder what both men and women alike think of me as I walk just to pick up some groceries. It can be very nerve wrecking people scanning you, and judging you..I hate it.
This is one of the many reasons I got upset so much when I first started out on this forum..I tried calling out the hypocrisies of the society and fitness agenda. I just got called an obesity sympathizer pretty well, even if I don't agree with it. And oh look, I'm probably repeating myself, again, which I'm sorry to everyone that has to read it.
It's just awful how women (and even a few men) can actually start starving themselves cause they are told they aren't thin and pretty enough. And this is coming from ALL sides. Not just one or the other.
I know obesity is a problem, and considered an eating disorder, too, but way too many people focus on how that's the only unhealthy thing there is in this world, where being super thin is also just as bad.
Yes, I have seen ads with overweight women a few times, and I know they were doing it for "woke agenda" reasons, but I still see FAR more skinny models on everything, being displayed half naked everywhere, even in a small town. I still see women try too hard to be beautiful and skinny, and always with the damn BLONDE HAIR. So many women have dyed blonde hair. I do also see a fair amount of the wacky blue/purple hair colours, but blonde is still very prevalent. It's disgusting. Okay, rant over! Sorry everyone haha

I really hate how people are unfairly judged by their mannerisms or body language.
A while back i posted about a man mocking a woman by doing this exaggerated slut walk, and the respinse was something about the way women look. That had nothing to do with the way the man was insisting on walking!

Or on one of the kpop threads people were saying one of them (i dont know the names) was a man based solely on the fact that this individual sits in a "masculine" way while off camera. Said something about "no women sit like this". I SIT LIKE THAT! Doesn't change the fact that im a real biological woman.

Also, thin is not equal to "sexy". Sexy is slutty trashy indecent etc.
Thin is just thin. Sometimes unhealthy like that poor girl in the videos. But it is not synonymous with slutty trashy indecent whorish...

As a woman i am tired of being erased because i don't fit the stereotype of how women behave.
So yeah, i (wo)manspread when i sit, and i walk without moving my hips. But that doesn't take away my XX bio woman-ness. So if someone says something like "No women..." or "ALL women..." i get irritated because ive gotten criticism about this my whole life.

Not wanting to start anything here, but Toxic has a point. I have seen so many on here and vigilant links say that we can't be biological women because of this reason or that reason, it's not whining or anything, I've dealt with the same crap.
It puts too much pressure on how we should behave/look, and that puts too many rules on how we should be. It's not whining, but venting.

Just that my husband and i went to get measured for something and apparently my arms are long, "like a man's")

I can sadly see that being a thing where we would have to prove we are women because ONE thing is different than the so called "norm"
Another thing I've noticed that I can't stand with every fibre of my being, is how everyone seems to be so obsessed with the idea of weight loss, almost like they are trying to be cool, or something.
I've noticed this with people and their animals. They will say their dog is overweight and needs to lose some (it's usually a female, too) and I see the dog, and there's NOTHING wrong with the animal. Their weight looks healthy to me, but these people seem to be obsessed with talking about weight loss. It's like how some parents will practically starve their children to be vegans, and usually it's the little girls that get the blunt end of it.
Reminds me of a clip I saw on a show called Two Broke Girls, where the main character was babysitting for this obnoxious beauty queen type woman who had two babies, named Brad and Angelina (how original *eyeroll*) and literally said that Angelina had to go on a diet cause she has fat on her. She's a baby! They are supposed to have a bit of fat on them! And of course, it was only the GIRL she said this about. What is up with people and their obsessions of female ANYTHING having to lose weight? So dumb!

At times they seem to be on to something, but most often I just don't see it. They will point out some flaw with the shoulders, the rear end, or the Adams apple etc, and with the utmost confidence proclaim the person in question to be a full on transgender. Sometimes they're down right comical, honestly. The other day I actually thought to myself you know, my neck is kind of questionable according to their definition of an "Adams apple". What if there is some guy out there who saw me grocery shopping today and swears on his life I'm a trans person?! People have got to stop watching these channels lol.

agree, i also feel like there is still specific beauty standards that is pushed into women ie: some women have to have plastic surgery and alter their bodies in order for them to look good or kids that be wearing makeup at a young age its a bit ott nowadays and yet some people on society still be telling folk to love themselved and be themselves it doesnt add up anymore how can we do that when theres so many means of feeling insecure about our looks or bodies?
