I answered this question and you've obviously rejected the answer because it doesn't suit you but its true to the Word of God. Now you answer my questions.Does this still stand?-
God said- "Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything" (Genesis 9:3)
You misunderstand scripture again and have taken in out of context. Paul never contradicts the Bible and God never contradicts His own Word. Unclean animals will always be unclean. Paul never ate unclean meat and he taught the Gentile Christians the same thing too. So lets look at this scripture and see what Paul really meant and who he was really talking to.1 Corinthians 10:23-33
New King James Version
All to the Glory of God
23 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify. 24 Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.
25 Eat whatever is sold in the meat market, asking no questions for conscience’ sake; 26 for “the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.”
27 If any of those who do not believe invites you to dinner, and you desire to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no question for conscience’ sake. 28 But if anyone says to you, “This was offered to idols,” do not eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for conscience’ sake; for “the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.” 29 “Conscience,” I say, not your own, but that of the other. For why is my liberty judged by another mans conscience? 30 But if I partake with thanks, why am I evil spoken of for the food over which I give thanks?
31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give no offense, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God, 33 just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
I quoted the relevant passage without comment as I think the truths it contains are self-evident. I’m not going to tell you what you should and shouldn’t eat as I think that those things are far less important to the Lord than some people believe. You misunderstand scripture again and have taken in out of context. Paul never contradicts the Bible and God never contradicts His own Word. Unclean animals will always be unclean. Paul never ate unclean meat and he taught the Gentile Christians the same thing too. So lets look at this scripture and see what Paul really meant and who he was really talking to.
Paul talks about this subject in a few places. He talks about it in 1 Corinthians 8:1-9; 10:23-33.
Paul is talking to Christians here. Sabbath keeping Christians like him who already know about clean and unclean meat. So the subject is about purchasing meat and hospitality of non believers not about what kind of food/meat to eat. Verse 27, "If any of those who do not believe invites you to dinner, and you desire to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no question for conscience’ sake." When Christians are offered hospitality by non-Christians, it is in the spirit of Christ to accept such invitations whenever possible just as Jesus did regularly. Its an opportunity to spread the gospel. A lot of non believers offered their food to their gods/and or idols first. Paul was saying to Christians that they should accept food provided by their hosts and refrain from asking whether the food being served has been offered to an idol/god. However if at the beginning of or during the meal we find out that the food/meat has been offered to idols/gods as part of a sacrifice then we have to refuse to eat any more of the food/meat. Why? (1) for the sake of the person who has said that the food/meat has been offered to an idol, and (2) for our conscience' sake. In the first place once we find find out we cannot knowingly as Christians continue to eat the food/meat because it would appear that we are saying idolatry is okay if we continue to eat the food. In the second place, Christians should not show disloyalty to God and to His law to those we are preaching the gospel to because it might lead them and others to participate in idolatrous practices. They might think some idolatry is fine.
In 1 Corinthians 8:4 he says, "Concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing.” Meaning that the food/meat offered to them is really not tainted by anything.
Paul’s instructions were not meant to remove the Bible’s principles regarding unclean foods. He is saying we should “give no offense” (1 Corinthians 10:32), in other words, we should be witnesses for Christ to non believers, removing all obstacles “that they may be saved” (verse 33).
Neither should we ignore whether the animal is clean or unclean if we are eating meat. When Jesus went to non believer's houses He did not eat unclean meat to please the guests. He never went against His Father's principles and neither should we.
You took the scripture out of context. Paul was talking to Christians who knew about clean and unclean food/meat and was telling them what to do if they purchase food/meat offered to idols and if they go to non believers houses. So they clearly weren't the unbelievers were they? Context is key to understanding scripture and to not make God's Word seem like its contradicting itself.I quoted the relevant passage without comment as I think the truths it contains are self-evident. I’m not going to tell you what you should and shouldn’t eat as I think that those things are far less important to the Lord than some people believe.

Does that one verse change everything the Bible has to say about clean and unclean animals?..
This is not biblical at all. In fact its made up isn't it? Everything God told people to eat was for their health. And it was never about livestock disease, stop lying. God told people not to eat pork (one of the unclean animals) and touch their carcasses because they are very unclean and carry dangerous bacteria that can affect our health as I posted here. God knows that our physical health is connected to our minds, and our spirituality. What affects one affects the others. If the body is misused, the mind and the spiritual nature cannot become what God planned they should be. He wants us to be as healthy as we can be here on earth to worship Him and to spread His gospel. He doesn't want us to suffer because of illness and disease because of our diets.Let me put it into context for my popcorn-munching audience-
That verse is from Genesis, the first book of the Bible.
Later, when livestock disease was going around, God had to warn people to lay off certain foods for a while, that's all.
Are you by any chance a grass-eating vegan? Be careful...
Millions have died from not only eating pork but having very unhealthy lifestyles that are contrary to the Word of God. Many people who have unhealthy lifestyles are alive but don't have abundant lives because they are ill and taking all kinds of medication to help them get through life everyday.Like millions of people I've eaten pork stuff all my life and it hasn't killed me yet.
Heve you considered the whole letter to the Galatians? You took the scripture out of context. Paul was talking Christians who knew about clean and unclean food/meat and was telling them what to do if they purchase foo/meat offered to idols and if they go to non believers houses. So they clearly weren't the unbelievers were they? Context is key to understanding scripture and to not make God's Word seem like its contradicting itself.
And its important to God what we eat that's why there are health laws in the Bible. God wants us to be healthy physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Also its about obedience to God. Everything that we are asked to do in the Bible is important. You can't pick and choose what is important. It all works together for God's glory.
..stop lying...
You haven't answered my questions.
You are wrong about the scripture and there is no confusion. You keep bringing up its not Adventism as a defence mechanism but I have made it clear its about the Bible for me not religion. Paul was not addressing unbelievers clearly and was telling them how to deal with food that might have been offered to idols/gods. They already knew about clean and unclean meat.Heve you considered the whole letter to the Galatians?
I don’t wish to be so direct but Adventism mixes the old and new covenants and creates considerable confusion as a result. Paul exhorts Christians to “rightly divide the word of truth” and that must mean that it is possible to “wrongly divide”.
Do you wear blended fabrics or is that a “no-no” as well? Just wondering. But didn’t this law of clean and unclean animals originate with Moses? Wasn’t it for the Jews only, and didn’t it end at the cross?
“The Lord said to Noah, … ‘take with you seven each of every clean animal … two each of animals that are unclean’ ” (Genesis 7:1-2).
No on all points. Noah lived long before any Jews existed, but he knew of the clean and unclean animals, because he took into the ark the clean ones by sevens and the unclean ones by twos. Revelation 18:2 refers to some birds as being unclean just before the second coming of Christ. The death of Christ did not in any way affect or change these health laws, since the Bible says that all who break them will be destroyed when Jesus returns (Isaiah 66:15-17). The Jew’s digestive system in no way differs from the Gentile’s digestive system. These health laws are for all people for all time.
Context and study is key as I said. This is not a rule or principle that needs to be followed by all people on earth. It doesn't affect our health does it? So shouldn't you find out why God told the Jews to do that? It was to differentiate what the priests wore to the lay people. The Bible tells us exactly what garments the priests wore so you should look more into that as will I.Do you wear blended fabrics or is that a “no-no” as well? Just wondering.
Deuteronomy 22:11
11“You shall not wear a garment of different sorts, such as wool and linen mixed together.
Who is a robot lol! Stop being ridiculous and acting as though a Christian who studies the Bible guided by the Holy Spirit can't tell the difference between what was part of the Old Covenant and what is part of the New Covenant. The ten commandments are from the Old Testament and the Bible tells us they are what reveal God's character to us. God’s law is like a mirror pointing out our sin to us (James 1:23-25). The Bible tells us the law can never be changed or abolished. Should they not be followed because they were given in the Old Testament? The health laws always existed before there was ever an Israelite or Jew on earth. The unclean animals have never stopped being unclean and always will be and God never changed His mind about them. God never changes His mind. Jesus and the apostles followed the health laws as should we all. That is why the 2000 swine were drowned. Studying and understanding scripture is key. We do that by comparing scripture with scripture. We don't pick and choose and reject what we don't like.We can't slavishly follow the Old T like robots or there'd be no end to it, for example we'd have to go on killing sprees to deal with the following groups who are on the Old T's hit list..-
But God sent Jesus to overule that stuff and people quickly cottoned on-
"The law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ" (John 1:17)
As regards the old dietary laws, my God-given commonsense tells me that nowadays we can eat whatever our God-designed stomach tells us it wants, but if people want to avoid certain foods I couldn't care less, it's none of my business..
..The Bible tells us the law can never be changed or abolished..
I'm going to post on health laws of not eating blood and animal fat. Red try and study the Bible and find out how what is said in Acts 15 doesn't cancel out what Paul said. Paul made it clear if a Christian finds out meat/food has been offered/sacrificed to idols/gods they are not to buy or eat it. I can't explain everything to you though. Remember the Bible does not contradict itself. It does not work against itself. God bless.Acts 15
12 Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles. 13 And after they had become silent, James answered, saying, “Men andbrethren, listen to me: 14 Simon has declared how God at the first visited the Gentiles to take out of them a people for His name. 15 And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written:
16 ‘After this I will return
And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down;
I will rebuild its ruins,
And I will set it up;
17 So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord,
Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name,
Says the Lord who does all these things.’
18 “Known to God from eternity are all His works. 19 Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God, 20 but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood. 21 For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”
